DIRECTORS
Mr. Chuck Eady
Mr. Chuck Eady is a graduate of
Florida State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in
Instrumental Music Education. He also holds a Masters Degree from
Memphis State University. Mr. Eady has several years of professional
performing experience including three years with the Albany
Symphony. He has been an active high school band director for 42
years. His bands have consistently received Superior ratings in both
the concert and marching arenas with many 'Best in Class', a Grand
Champion Award and a Wind Ensemble performance at the Alabama Music
Educators Conference. Mr. Eady is a sought after clinician and
adjudicator throughout the southeast. He is Past President of the
Alabama Bandmasters Association and also served eight years as
Recording Secretary for that organization. He is currently in his
thirteenth year teaching Symphonic Band, Marching Band, and Jazz
Band at Pleasant Grove High School. Mr. Eady was selected as the
State of Alabama recipient for the School Band and Orchestra
Magazine Class of 2018 “50 Directors Who Make a Difference”.
His professional affiliations include the Alabama Music
Educators Association, MENC, the National Band Association, Phi Beta
Mu, and the Alabama Bandmasters Association.
Damon McAllister is originally from Ringgold, Georgia. He is a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a Bachelors Degree in Instrumental Music Education. He then earned his Masters Degree from the University of North Alabama. Mr. McAllister has been a music educator for over 25 years. His bands have received Superior ratings in both concert and marching band settings. He has been an adjudicator throughout the Southeastern United States. He has served on the Alabama Bandmasters Association Board of Directors as District Chairman in two different terms and is serving in his 15th year as the White Band Host at the ABA Alabama All-State Festival held annually in the spring. His professional affiliations include the Alabama Music Educators Association, MENC, National Banddirectors Association, and the Alabama Bandmasters Association. He is married to Rhonda McAllister and has two beautiful daughters Haley and Hope.
