Band Bucks can be ordered for Piggly Wiggly, Food World, and Hills Foodland Band Bucks. What are they? Band Bucks are certificates that can be used at Food World/Brunos; Piggly Wiggly; and Hills Foodland just like cash. Think of them like money orders that are only used at these stores. How do they work? You buy Band Bucks from an authorized source and spend them just like cash at Food World/Brunos; Piggly Wiggly; and Hills Foodland for groceries and other items. Food World/Brunos; Piggly Wiggly; and Hills Foodland then gives the Band Booster organization 6% of the total of all Band Bucks spent at their stores. For example, if you usually spend $100 per week on groceries, rather than writing a check at a grocery store, you purchase $100 worth of Band Bucks. You then spend your $100 in Band Bucks at the grocery store. Food World/Brunos, Piggly Wiggly, and Hills Foodland would then give Boosters $6.00 (6% of the $100 you spent). Its so easy! Instead of writing a check to the grocery store, write it to PGHS Band Boosters and get your Band Bucks to spend instead of cash - the Boosters will earn 6% to go in the operating budget. How can I buy Band Bucks? Band Bucks can NOW be picked up every day at the Union State Bank next to Hills Grocery. You can pick up Band Bucks at the drive through, or from an inside teller. All Band Bucks purchased at Union State Bank must be paid by check made payable to The Pleasant Grove Band Boosters. Be sure to include your child's name on the check, so we can maintain accurate account records. Union State Bank has agreed to hold Band Bucks for Food World, Piggly Wiggly, and Hills Foodland so please specify your preference when you make your purchase. Most of all, thank the Bank representative for providing this valuable service for the Boosters.
