2005 DISTRICT BAND JAMBOREE WHEN: Saturday, September 24, 2005. We will arrive at 5:00 PM. Formal ceremonies begin at 6:30 PM WHERE: Gardendale High School Stadium [Click here for a map and directions] ADMISSION: Anyone besides performing band members including chaperones must have a ticket. These can be purchased from any band student. All proceeds from ticket sales go to benefit the PG Band Program! ETIQUETTE: All students and audience members must show respect for performing groups by remaining attentive and quiet except for appropriate audience response. SEATING: There will be designated seating charts for all bands. Chaperones must be seated with the band. PARKING: The parking attendant will direct traffic to appropriate parking areas. Do not improvise parking places! RIDING HOME SEPARATELY: As usual, in order to ride home separately from a band event, a note must be turned in no later than 9:30 AM on the Friday before the event (September 23rd). Students can only be checked out by a parent or guardian, and the check-out must be done in person at the end of the event. Students who fail to get the note in on time will not be allowed to check out. NO EXCEPTIONS. 6:30 pm
